Is mprs only for producers and mixers?
If you have master royalty points, mprs will administer them for you. Our clients include producers and mixers, artists, investment funds, production houses/JVs, and other catalog owners.
Does mprs take a piece of my up-front producer advances?
No. We only commission the back-end royalties you actually receive. We also offer an optional invoicing service at a highly competitive rate of 3%.
Can I get an advance against my royalties?
We write advances against catalogs and, in some cases, future work. Drop us an email and we’ll find the structure that works best for you.
Will mprs find money for me?
Our process, technology, and proprietary audit tools let us test the accuracy of every label accounting associated with your catalog. If there is money missing, we will find it and collect it.
Does mprs collect other types of royalties?
mprs administers master royalty points, and SoundExchange on behalf of some clients. We do not administer neighbouring rights, publishing, or other right types.
